Lance White, JD
Founder and Managing Attorney
Lance White, J.D., is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Lance White Legal, L.L.C., which operates as Magnolia Disability Law Firm. As a licensed Louisiana Attorney since 2013, Lance White dedicated his entire practice to the area of Social Security Disability claimant representation at all levels of the administrative appeals process. His experience helping more than 1000 claimants in administrative hearings gives him an invaluable perspective on winning claims.
Lance is deeply committed to public service, having received the 2018 Louisiana State Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award for his extensive work helping indigent claimants receive the financial and health benefits they desperately needed.
As an Attorney in this complex field of law, Lance’s practice is exclusively focused on helping individuals with disabilities obtain the benefits they deserve. He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR), the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR), and Advocates, Counselors, and Representatives for the Disabled (ACRD). This ensures his practice remains current with the latest SSA regulations and policies.
Beyond his professional practice, Lance is deeply committed to public service and ensuring access to justice for indigent claimants. He was the recipient of the 2018 Louisiana State Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award for his extensive work with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services and the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Court.
His advocacy includes developing and instructing a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course to train other attorneys in Social Security Disability, thereby expanding the pool of legal professionals available to poor and disabled clients. Additionally, Lance is an active member of NOSSCR’s Political Action Committee (PAC) that advocates protecting the rights of Social Security Disability claimants.
Lance earned his Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, from Tulane University.
